Defining Business Needs for a User-Centric Dashboard

Through discussions with stakeholders, business requirements for the development were identified and defined. The goal was to create a user dashboard system for a cryptocurrency exchange, enabling users to manage their assets and monitor the status of their investments. The system needed to be intuitive and secure, offering users a seamless experience for overseeing their crypto portfolios with confidence.

Based on stakeholder input, competitor analysis from related fields, and user interviews, a Customer Journey Map (CJM) was developed to guide our priorities.

Prioritizing Needs with Jobs and User Stories

To guide future hypotheses, a series of Job Stories and User Stories were formulated. This approach allowed us to prioritize client needs and desires, ultimately defining a minimal set of essential features.

Prototyping a User-Focused Dashboard

Through iterative prototyping, we established a comprehensive structure for the user dashboard. Adopting a user-centered design approach and incorporating feedback at every stage allowed us to align with user expectations effectively, while also providing the business with clear priorities for development.
