Expectation and Key Metrics
The primary objective was to develop a complete payment flow for a P2P widget aimed at achieving a 90% conversion rate for successful transactions. The design needed to provide users with an intuitive and accessible interface that would inspire trust, positioning the widget as a reliable intermediary between the company and the bank.
What were the challenges?
The challenge lay in the complexity of the payment process itself, requiring users to switch to an external app to complete the transaction within their own banking environment. Clear instructions and strategic attention management were essential to guide users smoothly through the process, reducing stress and ensuring a seamless experience.
User-centric approach as a fundamental strategy
After analyzing the client’s requirements, I thoroughly developed the user flow, examining all potential scenarios and corner cases. Next, I crafted design solutions to effectively represent this process, conducting numerous usability tests to identify the most efficient way to convey complex information.
As a result, we achieved an optimal solution for the widget, minimizing user stress and reducing errors during the payment process.
